Key West Bight Ferry Terminal is where the Key West Express docks seven days a week to unload passengers arriving from Fort Myers for either a day visit or extended stay. This is where you can start your stroll along Harbor Walk.

Fish, Lobster, Shrimp and Conch are seafood favorites in the Conch Republic

There is an annual Seafood Festival in Key West in Bayview park in February that is sponsored by the commercial fishing industry. Fish, lobster, conch vendors are on site to serve up their favorite dishes. I believe the Festival proceeds go towards providing scholarships for the families of the commercial industry in Key West.

You will find this colorful sign on the property of the Monroe County Courthouse. It is placed in front of a beautiful Kapok tree. Everyone strolling along Whitehead Street seems to stop to take a picture of this sign and they have to have a photography in front of the Kapok tree. There are always a group of Key West Chickens hanging out in this area so there are number of photo ops.

We saw this on the front porch of a private residence on Caroline Street.

Both of us thought it was cute but probably totally missed the meaning of this cute missive.

The Lazy Gecko is one of Key West's favorite watering holes. It is located on Duval Street about 4-doors away from Sloppy Joes another famous watering hole.
